Surgery is NOT a Game Petition success

My reputation as a prominent body-image specialist has led to being invited to work with Susie Orbach on Anybody and Endangered Bodies. These initiatives raise awareness of body image and provide a platform for girls to begin to understand their relationship with their own bodies and to ultimately live comfortably in them.

Endangered Bodies created a petition against the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store and the Amazon App Store to remove cosmetic surgery apps.

These apps often feature animated characters, and are being marketed to kids as young as nine, a target group that is already influenced by our body-toxic culture.

Just last month, the petition declared victory after receiving over 150,000 signatures!
