The latest meeting on May 16, 2013 at The central YMCA in King’s Cross was to discuss the strategy for the National Campaign for Positive Body Image.  Caroline Nokes MP was in attendance along with representatives from over 20 various charities, advertising representatives, centre for appearance research, and many more.  All are coming together to send a message of body confidence and help our younger generation feel good about how they look so that they can thrive in society and not beScreen Shot 2013-06-25 at 20.13.48 held back should they not meet a fabricated idealized version of themselves.  The decision was taken to divide the attendees into expert working groups of Health and Well-being, Education, Advertising and Media, Brand and Marketing Communications and Research in order to establish a clear message for the  campaign.
